In this stylish Denver area home, our client wanted to create an atmosphere of classic, contemporary taste and comfort. Our challenge at The Drapery Company was to bring the entire first floor together in a way that coordinated beautifully and achieved the design integrity of the large-scale architectural and furniture elements throughout.

The homeowners entire first floor was very open and grand. Each room flowed easily into another. The ceilings were high, the windows tall and spacious. The furniture was on a large scale. After consulting with the client we decided that the main floor window treatments needed to to project a presence sufficient to complement the rest of their lovely home.

We chose to create an atmosphere of formal and semi-formal luxury in this highly visible part of the home without sacrificing comfort which was a must for this growing family. After much deliberation over each room, our client selected fabrics with a variety of textures, patterns and colors - an ensemble of chenilles, silks and gorgeous tapestries in warm, rich tones perfectly suited to their tastes.They were thrilled with their new make over and we went away knowing that we left behind a lovely, livable designers showplace and a very appreciative customer.
